Legalization of School Certificates and School Transcripts

At the Consulate

Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form) and enclose the following:

• School certificate/school transcript legalized by a notary public, then signed by the county clerk wherever required (New York State), and later authenticated by the Secretary of the State where the affidavit is drafted, and a copy of the said documents.
• Valid passport, Lebanese identification card (I.D.), or family/individual ikhraj kayd and a copy of the said document.
• Fees: Legalization of University documents are free of charge when accompanied by a current valid University ID. In all other cases, including requests from non-Lebanese applicants and requests for the legalization of University documents when the applicant is no longer a student, a fee of $60 USD will apply.
• Certified self-addressed and stamped envelope for return (no return fees are accepted) if the documents are to be returned by mail.
