Shipping of Personal Effects to Lebanon
For shipping personal effects to Lebanon, the person concerned:
- Should have been living outside Lebanon for the past three consecutive years.
- Should be moving permanently to Lebanon.
- Should be using the said effects for his own personal use (any sales are illegal).
At the Consulate
Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form) and enclose the following:
- Personal effects pledge (select the link to get the form) signed by the applicant.
- Itemized list of the personal effects (cars and heavy machinery don’t apply).
- Valid passport, Lebanese identification card (I.D.), or family/individual ikhraj kayd and a copy of the said document.
- Fees: $120 (only money orders payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon are accepted).
- Certified self-addressed and stamped envelope for return (no return fees are accepted) if the documents are to be returned by mail.
