Hussein Madi at the MET
The Arabic Alphabet by Lebanese artist Hussein Madi is the first joint acquisition undertaken by the Departments of Islamic Art and Modern and Contemporary Art at the MET. The Arabic Alphabet exists in an edition of ninety-nine: a reference to the ninety-nine “names of God.”

USEK Interactive Concert
USEK in collaboration with Classical Saxophone Project is hosting an interactive concert that explores the rich history and evolution of the Saxophone, as well as its impact and role across genres, from Classical to Contemporary.

St. Maron Day Gala celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year
The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lebanon presents the 98th Annual Saint Maron Day Gala on February 8, 2024.
The Gala will feature a cocktail hour followed by dinner, dancing, raffle and entertainment.

SEAL evening in support of Lebanon
The Social and Economic Action for Lebanon (SEAL) will hold its New York Benefit Dinner on Tuesday February 11, 2025, honoring Middle East Airlines pilots and flight attendants and award-winning actor Tony Shalhoub.
This evening is essential to advancing SEAL’s mission of empowering underserved Lebanese communities. SEAL works to create sustainable economic opportunities that lift people out of poverty while preserving their dignity—a mission that has never been more urgent amid the ongoing crises in Lebanon.

“Euphoria” Art Exhibition
Euphoria Exhibition presents the works of Lebanese artist Nayla Kai Saroufim opening.
This exhibition brings together the practices of Middle Eastern artists whose work explores themes of fragmentation, reconstruction, and memory, opening a dialogue on identity, culture, and transformation.
The Exhibition is taking place at Fremin Gallery, 520 W 23rd St, New York, 10011, till February 28, 2025.
Lebanese American University (LAU) Centennial Gala
The Lebanese American University is celebrating its Centennial by “A Tribute to the Past and Promise for the Future” Gala, honoring Lebanese singer Elissa, three-time World Music Award winner, and Sassine Ghazi, CEO of Synopsys and LAU Alumnus.
At the Gala, you will get to meet the new President of LAU, Dr. Chaouki Abdallah. Among other things Dr. Abdallah is the EVP of Research at Georgia ECH, and previous President of the University of New Mexico.
The event will take place on March 13, 2025, at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building of the New York Public Library in New York city at 6pm.

St. Jude Hope & Heritage Gala
The 9th Annual St. Jude Hope & Heritage Gala will take place on April 26, 2025.
The Gala celebrates the contributions and culture of the Middle Eastern community. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a live auction, dancing and more to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The hospital was founded by Danny Thomas and ALSAC (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities). ALSAC raises awareness and annual financial support to manage and run the hospital. Patients and their families never receive bills for treatment, travel, housing or food.

East End Collected Art Exhibition
Exhibition at the Southampton Arts Center will feature Architect Nishan Kazazian’s works spanning different periods, alongside the first public presentation of his video project titled “Unfolding Futures Imagined (2019-2024)”.
The project represents my Nishan’s commitment to turning art into adaptive solutions for a sustainable future.
