Legalization of Pledges not Drafted at the Consulate

All pledges not drafted at the Consulate should:
- Include the names, dates and places of birth, addresses and telephone numbers of the signatories.
- Be legalized by a notary public, then signed by the county clerk wherever required (New York State), and later authenticated by the Secretary of the State where the affidavit is drafted.
At the Consulate
Complete a legalization application (select the link to get the form) and enclose the following:
- Pledge legalized by a notary public, then signed by the county clerk wherever required (New York State), and later authenticated by the Secretary of the State where the affidavit is drafted, and a copy of the said documents.
- Valid passport, Lebanese identification card (I.D.), or family/individual ikhraj kayd and a copy of the said document.
- Fees: $125 for each signatory and for those whom she/he/they are representing (only money orders payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon are accepted).
- Certified self-addressed and stamped envelope for return (no return fees are accepted) if the documents are to be returned by mail.
