Renunciation of Lebanese Citizenship

At the Consular Section
Complete a citizenship renunciation application (select the link to get the form) and enclose the following:
- Citizenship renunciation affidavit form (select the link to get the form) signed at the Consular Section or authenticated by a notary public.
- Lebanese Passport and Lebanese ID or ikraj kayd.
- A notarized copy of a valid US Passport.
- A letter from the US concerned authorities stating the reason for the request of renunciation of citizenship.
- Fees: $1000.00 (only cash or money orders payable to the Consulate General of Lebanon are accepted).
The Consulate will provide a certificate affirming the submission of the renunciation application.
